BIOGRAPHY New York native Joseph Cavalieri attended the School of Visual Arts, in Manhattan, after which he Art Directed at GQ, People and Good Housekeeping magazines. In 1997 he began studies at UrbanGlass in Brooklyn leading to the 2009 opening of CAVAglass studio in Manhattan. Joseph operates this studio full time and welcomes studio visits. Highlights of Joseph’s glass career include creation of the “Missing Episode” series, which combines Simpsons characters in captivating scenes of death and dying. The work is multi layered stained glass, all set inside detailed, hand painted, architectural settings, and placed inside a wall hung light box. "...dark and achingly funny." says Cate McQuaid of the Boston Globe. "Il Momento Della Morte" (The Moment of Death) was purchased by a current writer of The Simpson's series.
